Little Elm is a part of the rapidly growing Dallas Ft Worth metropolitan area and is located on the shores of Lewisville Lake in Denton County. Thirty miles to the South brings you to Dallas and an equal distance to the Southwest takes you to Ft Worth.
2008 will bring a vital east west route through Little Elm as the Lewisville Lake Toll 
Bridge is completed, connecting Interstate Highway 35E on the west to the Dallas North Tollway on the east, via Eldorado Parkway, through the center of Little Elm.
New commercial, retail, housing and community buildings are planned in the heart of Little Elm along Eldorado Parkway. Newest among those plans are for a new Town Center that is destined to become the gathering place for our citizens and visitors alike. This multi use development will encompass urban style up town living as well as shopping, restaurants and professional offices space, many within site of the lake.
The corporate town limits of Little Elm encompass over twenty-three miles of shoreline allowing view of the lake from many neighborhoods and businesses. Despite the rapid growth, Little Elm maintains small town charm and a real feeling of community. We are truly the town with the lake attitude.
